Ive been using it for some time (2 years?) and it definitedly is THE ultimate tool to keep track of the expenses between different people. Simple, clean, efficient, productive and free! One of my must haves!

For those traveling all the time with friends, this is definitely a usefull app. The app is also really easy to use.

Cant think of anything, the app doesnt think of. Select who shares each expense, who paid, etc. Could have used that on my last holiday trip with friends. Just need to remember to install it before the next one as the app has absolutely no use, if youre not on vacation with friends.

This free app offers the features and the simplicity I would ask for. Unfortunately, different currencies are not accounted for in the summation - thats a bug! Also, the keypad lacks a decimal point. And it is very tedious to have to scroll through the whole list of currencies each time you make a new entry. It should be easy to iron these things out.

I can only add people if they are a contact? I am NOT adding a new contact every time I use this. Make it so you can just put in a name.

Excellent when in a bar and everyones paying for the beer if you want to split even at the end, we dont need to worry whos paying as long as we register it in the application.

My girlfriend and I used this app on a road trip this summer. It was a breeze to just dump all expenses into Payback and not have to worry about who was paying for what and when.

Simple. Easy to use. Great tool to keep tracking all expenses during trip. Specially with friends. Also love the export csv & email function. Keep it up. Great app great job. Its freeeee thank you so much to create this.

Crash after new update 15.062016.. Application not working

In general if you need to spread the cost during travel or track expenced on business trip its great. Simply track everything and it gives you the total. But if you need a report, the output format the app is using is PITA to work with as its not .csv it is some special one and i spent about an hour to parse through the data after importing to excel.

Simple but powerful tool for expense sharing and owes calculation. Screens actually looks pretty ugly (sorry for that) and sometimes you have to do some unnecessary taps, but tool works clear, smooth and perfectly. On functionality its better than other you-owe-me app such as Budgy, YOM etc.

Just love this app and wont be able to go without it on my next holiday with friends!

App has always worked great. Anybody else having problems

This program does not let you enter your friends in manually. They must be in your contact list. Makes the app totally worthless for itouch users!

User interface is awful, way to many taps to get hardly anything back from the device. This review is for the developer... you have a good idea, but the interactions you put the user through are painful. Never leave the user with a blank screen... the first screen should be a new trip! (shouldnt have to hit edit or add) I like that your using the address book... (again shouldnt have to hit edit or add) also seems strange that I would have to add myself to get paid also. Your title shouldnt be new trip (it should be greyed out like with description) ( I dont want to delete this everytime I have a new trip) On to expenses... once again the screen is blank I have to hit edit... Im not editing anything, Im adding something, but how? (you have to hit edit) and then I have to click add? Yikes this is a horrible experience. Description... OK you enter food, enter an amount...friend paying for expense its me! how do I get my name into this? I cant choose me! I like the checkmark who is sharing the expense. Once your done... there is no overview of all this you have to dig into each trip to find out who what where and how. I suggest that you think this one through again. its a good idea but poor execution. Then here is the big one... Once the user has entered in all this information this application doesnt help anyone get paid, doesnt help anyone get notified, or tell the user to contact anyone or call or email anyone... You need follow through!

I downloaded this app because it was free. Works really well for me (helped resolve expenses from a recent trip I did). Was surprised by the 1 star reviews (I found the UI to be clean and intuitive, app is easy to use and does everything I need).

The concept is good. But the User interface design is pretty bad. Where is the delete button for people in lists or for the whole list itself??! People outside of the contact list cannot be added. If these are improved, it would be a good app.
